Emanuel and Carmen Gaskins were born and raised in Paterson, NJ. They met in 1996 during a church service as their church choirs were gathered for the annual choir anniversary. Serving in their local ministries for more than 20 years, the couple joined Bethany Church in 2014. The Gaskins believed that Bethany Church had something to offer them and they in turn had something to offer Bethany Church.

 

Emanuel served on the worship team, taught the men’s small group and served as an Elder. Carmen served as a greeter, usher, and children’s ministry worker. In 2020, Emanuel felt the call for Pastoral Ministry. With God governing their steps, they accepted the role as Campus Pastors for the Paterson location. The Gaskins have gone back home to serve in the Great City of Paterson.
